DIY: Glowing Spider Jars

Spider Jar Anchor

This project combines my two favourite Halloween decorations, eerie glow of candlelight and creepy crawlies (fake of course).

Spider Jar 1

Materials for one spider jar:

One mason jar with lid

Fake cobwebs

Plastic spiders

1 Battery powered candle

DIY

Spider Jar 2

STEP 1: Night Light

Turn on the battery powered candle and place it in the bottom of the mason jar.

Spider Jar 3

STEP 2: Wicked Webs

Fill the jar (covering the candle) with fake cobwebs. Then place your spiders amongst the cobwebs.

Spider Jar 4

STEP 3: Safe Keeping

Place the lid on the jars and wait for it to get dark!

Up your scare factor this year by displaying a collection of these jars along with your pumpkins!
