There’s a treasure trove of Canadian sellers on Etsy, our go-to for one-of-a-kind handmade goods, and we’ve rounded up our favourites for you to browse and shop with ease (without the major shipping fees!).
Gallant & Jones
It’s hard to envision a more Canadian sight than this, eh?
Gallant & Jones are based in Vancouver, BC and design classic and elegant outdoor furniture, like this oak deck chair with a fabric sling and pillow.
The majority of the materials used in the chairs are locally sourced, and for each chair made, a tree is planted through the Love Trees program.
That’s the Canadian spirit we love to see on Etsy!
Atelier Cocotte
These exquisite pendant lamps appear to be plucked from straight from nature, with their delicate petals revealing swaths of light. But in fact they’re made by hand by designer Isabelle Auger.
The lamps are made using locally sourced wood, including white and red birch, oak and maple.
A+J
When a ceramist meets a glassblower, the results are bound to be beautiful, case in point: A+J. This dynamic duo designs not only beautiful, but functional objects, so you can always justify the splurge. Our favourite? The ceramic juicer in blue, perfect for fresh OJ in the morning, or lemonade in the afternoon sun.
2Jacs
Tie dye is a summer staple (who remembers their multicoloured pillow cases from camp?) but introducing the style into your home decor requires a take on the trend that’s a touch more refined and elegant. 2jacs specializes in Shibori dyed pieces for home (including napkins, pillows and tea towels), which creates a dreamy, single-tone effect. They’re the perfect addition to your basic table setting.
BelloPop
Here at the HGTV.ca HQ, we admire any designer who takes the time to make everyday objects beautiful. BelloPop takes their colourful and graphic prints and applies them to teeny tiny matchstick boxes, making them as much a staple on your coffee table as your collection of scented candles.

Les Triplettes
We’re catching on to this cute kid room trend of pillows in fun shapes and introducing it to living rooms in need of a relaxed vibe.
Les Triplettes operates out of Montreal and designs star, heart and cloud pillows in beautiful Liberty of London prints. Hearts would be cute along a sofa, but our favourite are the pillows with mega star power.
