Dave Wilson has spent a fair amount of time living in the spotlight, from successful country musician to co-host of Masters of Flip with his wife, Kortney. Here are seven fun facts about Dave that you probably didn’t know about the HGTV Canada star.
He and Kortney Have Been Married Four Times!
Yes, you read that correctly: Dave and Kortney have exchanged vows a whopping four times. “We’re hoping to get it right one of these times,” Dave jokes. The best part? Their three kids – Jett, Sully and Lennox – all got to witness their parents renew their vows. No word yet on whether a fifth wedding is in the works, though.

He Was a Country Musician
Before he went on to become one of the most recognizable faces on HGTV Canada, Dave was a bona fide country star. In fact, it was one of his main reasons for relocating to Nashville, Tennessee, where he signed a solo deal with Lyric Street Records. Although he no longer tours, he and Kortney still love a good karaoke session while out on the town.
He Was Born in Ottawa

He’s Always Late
According to wife Kortney, Dave has the tendency to show up a little late for events and family outings. “He’s rarely on time of anything,” she laughs.
He Loves to Surprise People
Kortney reveals Dave’s softer side when it comes to surprising those closest to him. “If you said something around Dave like, ‘Oh, I love cinnamon hearts’ you have to be careful saying it because he will go out and get it without anybody knowing. He’s very sentimental that way.”
