What is your favourite Father’s Day memory?
“My favourite Father’s Day memory would probably have to be Father’s Day last year, because it was my first Father’s Day with both of my kids. The girls made me breakfast in bed (which never happens!), we went to an amusement park, and just hung out as a family. The girls think Father’s Day is like my birthday, so we had cake and a nice family dinner.”

How do you plan to celebrate Father’s Day this year (2015)?
“This Father’s Day I will be very, very busy. Not sure where I’ll be or who I’ll be with. I’m just hoping I might see one or all my kids. The good news is I know I’ll be with Mike Jr. but I’d love to see all my kids and grandkids–it’s Sherry’s birthday on Father’s Day, too! She’s the best Father’s Day gift I ever got!”

How do you plan to celebrate father’s day this year?
“The first thing I plan on doing is to call my little dad and wish him a Happy Father’s Day. He lives 12 hours away from me in the province of Alberta, it is customary that we speak every Sunday, sometimes up to an hour. My dad means the world to me and it is wonderful to hear his voice and gain from his incredible wisdom. My dad & I are best friends. Then I plan on spending my day visiting or talking with my kids wherever they are!!! Distance cannot keep you apart…”

How do you plan to celebrate Father’s Day this year?
“Now that my daughter Chloe is older (13), Father’s Day will be a cup of tea brought to me in bed, then permission to go golfing with three other dads from my college days. A tradition we’ve been upholding for close to 10 years. Then home to BBQ!

What is your favourite Father’s Day memory?
My favourite memories would definately be of the artwork I would get from Chloe on Father’s Day. When she was younger she was the most prolific artist on the planet! Father’s day was always tea in bed and her latest masterpiece!”

How do you plan to celebrate Father’s Day this year?
“We love to travel as a family, and for this Father’s Day we’re excited to be traveling to New York, London and Paris with my mum!”

What is your favourite Father’s Day memory?
“Some of my favourite Father’s Day memories are spent as a family, with my mum, all my siblings and my nieces and nephews. We usually go to our favourite local restaurant, catch up and have a few laughs.”

How do you plan to celebrate Father’s Day this year (2015)?
“I plan to take my family fishing on Father’s Day to my special fishing spot far from civilization.”

What is your favourite Father’s Day memory?
“My most memorable Father’s Day with my dad was when he took me fishing.”

How do you plan to celebrate Father’s Day this year (2015)?
“I plan on flying my husky to Horsefly Lake. I was born on Father’s Day a few years back, that makes it even more special.”

“Here’s a shot of Quintyn Werner Graham Baeumler (our first!) a few weeks after he was born…When I first became a Father, I remember thinking that I would do anything to provide and care for my family – it was a very proud moment, and we’ve been very lucky to experience three more of those moments!” -Bryan Baeumler 

“This Father’s Day, we’re going to lay low…I like to get up in the morning, there’s usually a pile-on in bed with four little people climbing all over me, and wishing me a Happy Father’s Day. There’s bacon and eggs, and we all sit together and eat. I’m not a big gift getter…the best gift I can get is to have a day to spend with my family either at home or at the cottage, without a schedule or anywhere to be. It’s great to just spend quality time doing whatever happens to catch our interest at the time. The kids usually (with Sarah’s help!) make homemade cards for me, and that’s about all I need…time off, no distractions, surrounded by Family. Quite often we end up hosting a Father’s Day brunch with my Dad, Sarah’s Dad and my two brothers Paul and Mike, and all the associated herd that comes with us all! It’s a day for Family and fun. But with four kids…it’s a busy day!” -Bryan Baeumler

In 2014, Scott spent Father’s Day with his wife and two adorable daughters. 

“I’m getting up at the crack of dawn to go golfing early instead of sleeping in, only nine holes rather than eighteen, that way I’ll have more time the to spend with all of my girls” -Paul Lafrance

“This Father’s Day all the kids (and grandkids) are coming to the house for a day at the pool! When they were younger I never saw them–I worked 7 days a week. But I’m making up for lost time–I even work with my kids now! It’s like Father’s Day every day. Best Father’s Day gift? Sherry. She was born on Father’s Day–I couldn’t have asked for a better gift!” -Mike Holmes 

“The most fond memory I have is making a paper mache rock as a paper weight.  Loads of coloured tissue paper packed on a rock covered in glitter.  Best. Gift. Ever. A classic never dies!” -Tiffany Pratt 

“In terms of Father’s Day traditions… I used to make my dad a card every year and also make both my parents breakfast in bed!” -Kate Campbell

This photo is of Joel and his dad, John. John was an incredibly important person in Joel’s life and is largely responsible for fostering Joel’s loves of building and fishing.  

Joel likes to take the kids dirt biking. This shot is of his three kids this spring after a ride.

“For this Father’s Day I will be hanging with my kids and enjoying family visiting for my 50th birthday party. I am so excited! My best Father’s Day in the past has been fishing with my dad and my kids. In a small boat you’re stuck together with no phones, noise or distraction. You have only each other and the conversation and laughter that happens throughout the day. I remember one year we had a moose walk out in front of us on a local lake!” -André Chevigny
