IKEA Recreates Iconic Living Rooms From ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Friends’ and ‘Stranger Things’

From Friends to The Simpsons to Stranger Things, Swedish furniture superstore IKEA is bringing some of the most iconic living rooms from your favourite television shows to life. The United Arab Emirates campaign “IKEA Real Life Series” will display the recreations at some of their stores in the Middle East, as well as online, where people can easily order the products on display in the set recreations.

If you’re a fan of The Simpsons, you’re always looking forward to how Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie will enter the iconic living room at the beginning of each episode. Apparently the hardest part of recreating these iconic living rooms? Picking which ones to bring to life. “We had a list of 60, so deciding these three was quite a hard decision to make,” said Eduardo Marques, the CCO of Publicis, an ad agency IKEA partnered with on the project.
