As every good prankster knows, plastic snakes are a surefire way to give your friends and family a good scare. With this in mind, we’ve turned to our faux slithering friends as a fun way to startle guests and trick-or-treaters this Halloween. Get started decorating your front porch for fall with this easy DIY Halloween wreath that you can make in just a few minutes.

Materials:

    • Vine wreath
    • Plastic snakes
    • Hot glue gun
    • Black spray paint
    • Wreath hookPerson using a glue gun to stick a plastic snake on a wreath

Instructions:

Step One: Attach your plastic snakes to the vine wreath using a hot glue gun.

Step Two: Once all of the snakes are attached and have fully dried, spray paint everything black. Don’t forget to spray the back as well!

Step Three: Once it has dried, use a wreath hook or a suction cup to attach this spooky snake wreath to your door or window.
