Taking a rundown rancher in Las Vegas and turning it into a chic character home is no small feat. Jonathan and Drew took on the challenge in Property Brothers: Forever Home and injected this property with all the mid-century-modern feels and Nevada cowboy charm.

Eclectic Circus
Homeowners Ren and Scott finally found a house with oodles of heritage charm close to the city but it needed a lot of updates. Jonathan and Drew completely reworked the kitchen, office, mudroom and master bathroom to suit their eclectic style.
Character Actors
Ren and Scott wanted their forever home to have tons of character and preserve its heritage features, which is exactly what they got with the exposed beams, terra-cotta tile floors and original grass-green tiled corner fireplace.
Central Station
This kitchen is definitely the hub of the home and sets the design tone for the rest of the house with its on-trend navy cabinets and gold hardware, white quartz countertops, blown-glass pendant lights, and vintage-inspired geometric tile backsplash.

Oldie But a Goodie
The Property Brothers kept Ren and Scott’s vintage aesthetic in mind when they were coming up with the design plan – they even incorporated the owners’ original mid-century-modern chairs into the dining room’s retro decorating scheme.
Mix and Match
A wooden mid-century-modern credenza grounds an eclectic art wall featuring framed retro floral paintings, a small bronze horse head and a succulent planter. The exposed beams above unifies this perfectly mismatched area.
Finding Balance
The completely redone master bathroom is ultra-modern, with its black high-end fixtures, but still keeps the organic vibe the homeowners like with the egg-shaped freestanding tub, floating wood shelves and sand-coloured floor tiles.

Shower Power
Nearly half of the new master bathroom is dedicated to this massive walk-in shower, with its rainfall and multi-jet heads and wide bench. Luckily, there was still plenty of space for a wooden double-sink vanity and his and her mirrors.
Sweat It Out
If you’re going to make your forever master bathroom, you might as well dream big. In the case of Ren and Scott, that’s a private cedar-lined infrared sauna just steps from the shower.
Palm Springs
As a more personal space, the separate shared office is where the owners’ quirky personalities really shine through. A palm-leaf inspired wallpaper covers an entire wall, while the playful furnishings and artwork liven up the rest of the light-filled room.
Come On In, Y’All
The entryway needed a designated place to store shoes and coats, which this handy navy-blue bench unit provides, but it’s the large blue textured wall art that’s the star of the front hall – it’s the first thing visitors see when walking in.
