50 Cent’s 50,000-Square-Foot Mansion is Heading to Million Dollar Listing

Despite declaring bankruptcy in 2015, rapper 50 Cent never stopped living large: Case in point: his opulently ostentatious 50,000-square-foot mansion, which is slated to be featured in an upcoming edition of HGTV’s Million Dollar Listing New York.

Situated in the midst of bucolic countryside in Farmington, Connecticut, the 52-room home is located on a massive 17-acre lot. The home is currently on the market, listed at $4,995,000 – which, notes the New York Post, is a massive reduction from its original asking price of $18.5 million, when it first went on the market.

, the home is one of the few in Connecticut to “have approved grounds for landing a helicopter, which makes for easy access from/to New York City.”

This is a home that makes a pretty spectacular first impression, featuring gleaming marble floors within a massive three-level entrance foyer that includes dual circular staircases in addition to an elevator.

The living room exudes an air of formality without sacrificing comfort. After filing for bankruptcy in 2015, 50 Cent put the home on the market, but it never sold.

With green marble countertops, dark hardwood floors and complementary wooden cabinetry, the kitchen is understandably huge, with a large crystal chandelier hanging overhead.

Another crystal chandelier adorns the formal dining room of the home, which 50 Cent purchased from former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson for $4.1 million back in 2003.

The master bedroom – one of 19 in the home – features a double-height ceiling with a sleek spiral staircase leading to a loft area overhead, while a wall of windows looks out to the sprawling landscape outdoors.

Adjacent to the master bedroom is this huge master bath, boasting marble walls, floors and tub enclosure, along with contrasting dark wood.

It’s not every posh Connecticut mansion that has its own strip club – complete with elevated stage and stripper pole – that’s been decorated with a mural celebrating the home’s owner.

The home’s opulent home theatre has been outfitted with leather recliners in order to achieve maximum comfort while watching such 50 Cent classics as Get Rich or Die Trying and Righteous Kill.

The home boasts its own private pond, with water-spraying fountains throughout and a large gazebo-style structure on the bank.

The backyard pool boasts this stone grotto, not unlike the one made famous (infamous?) by Hugh Hefner in the Playboy Mansion.

That’s right, 50 Cent has his own private nightclub, complete with dance floor and DJ booth.

There’s your garden variety home gym, and then there’s 50 Cent’s fitness room, which is about as well-equipped as most membership-requiring gyms.

When winter comes to Connecticut, there’s this swanky indoor pool, with floor-to-ceiling windows letting natural light flood right in.

Among the home’s other unique features are this racquetball court, a basketball court, multiple game rooms, a “green screen room” (presumably for filming), a recording studio and a few guesthouses.
