The History of Wetumpka
Wetumpka has a long and rich history, thanks to its attractive, lush land. It was first home to the Muscogee people and later to the French and British before the American Revolution. Because of its location on the Coosa River, it was a major destination for trade in the 1800s.

Wetumpka was prime for a Napier makeover! The historical architecture is largely intact, but buildings were ready for a touch up.
