The Fan Favourite
This blush pink Craftsman is a fan favourite from Home Town. Erin took a risk painting the 1920s home blush pink with seafoam green accents, but the colour combination was made for the architectural details of a Craftsman home. Just look at the windows, they’re adorable!
Laidback and Lovely
To ground the dreamy pink walls, Erin painted the floor of the front porch a deep robin’s egg blue, and topped it with vintage folding chairs. The overall vibe is a delightful time warp to a resort in the 1920s. Very Some Like it Hot.

A Craftsman Home with Familial Ties
Talk about a home with history! This 120-year-old Craftsman home once belonged to Erin’s cousin Kit, and played host to many a family gathering. When Erin’s Uncle Danny bought it for $165,000, it gave Erin the perfect opportunity to honour the home’s history, while making it fresh and functional for modern day entertaining. The $120,000 makeover included a brand new front door, new lanterns, and new fans for the lazy, hazy days of summer in Laurel, Mississippi.

A Healing Craftsman Home
This $110,000 Craftsman was so much more than a home, it was a fresh start for Ben and Erin’s friend Kendall, after the sudden and tragic death of her husband. With $125,000 in hand, Ben and Erin set about transforming the 1940s Craftsman into a welcoming retreat, starting with the exterior. The stairs alone say, “Come on in!” but the addition of landscaping, a fresh colour scheme and a new door make this home all the more inviting.

One Hundred Years in the Making
This 100-year-old Craftsman home was a special project for Ben and Erin Napier: they transformed it for Home Town‘s very own executive producer! She tasked them with honouring the $170,000 Victorian home’s historical beauty, while giving it a healthy dose of Floridian style. With a $140,000 design budget, the Napiers gave the home a bright and cheerful facelift, complete with a new front porch, a beautiful kitchen and the most glamorous bathroom in Home Town history.

The Napiers’ Blue Period
Erin tends towards pretty pastel colours from Craftsman renovations, so we were surprised (and thrilled) to see this moody blue exterior. The white and black accents on the windows, door and porch breathe life into the blue siding, and give the home a hip persona (perfect for the first-time buyer who scooped up the affordable bungalow).

Like a Nice, Warm Hug
This 1920s bungalow had sat abandoned for years until Ben and Erin Napier were tasked with its renovation. For the exterior, Erin opted for a trio of colours that were typical of the home’s origins, and while somewhat unusual, the butter yellow, rust orange and moss green work together to give the feeling of a big, warm hug (kinda like how we’d envision a hug from Ben feeling).

A Home With Heart
This sweet Craftsman home had sat abandoned for years until Ben and Erin Napier were asked to restore it for a not-for-profit that provides transitional support for women and their families. Their aim was to create a home that felt instantly calming and welcoming, and judging by the peachy pink front door alone, mission accomplished!
A Home With Heart
A closer look at the front porch shows the colour scheme Erin pulled together, consisting of peachy pink, mint green and ocean blue. Erin leaned heavily on colour therapy to influence her choice, and we love how the colours work with the Craftsman’s quaint features.

A Little Bit Craftsman, a Little Bit Cape Cod
Ben and Erin Napier had so much fun updating this gorgeous home in Laurel, Mississippi, and while it’s technically not a Craftsman (it was built in 1970), they did manage to lend it a little historic-inspired charm. Erin applied a lime wash over the home’s original red brick, and gave the shutters a fresh coat of blue paint for a combination that’s upbeat and beautiful. Talk about crafty!

A Seaside-Inspired Paradise
This is another little bungalow that technically isn’t a Craftsman but was restored to incorporate those quaint, cottagey features of a Craftsman. Ben and Erin put $75,000 into renovating the home, which included a warm cream painted over the brick, a mellow yellow front door, and green shingles on the roof. It’s a vision of springtime!
