STEP ONE:  Get Prepped & Organized

Firstly, you’ll want to make a list of all the various types of seeds you’re looking to store in your DIY envelopes. You’ll need as many coin envelopes as you have different types of seeds. Assign each type of seed to an envelope.

STEP TWO: Get Painting!

Then, grab acrylic paint in different colours and hand-paint little illustrations to coordinate your seed types. We painted carrots, poppies, cucumbers and strawberries. Get creative, but again, we recommend keeping your designs minimalistic since the envelopes are so small.

STEP THREE: Stamp The Envelopes

Using your alphabet stamp set and an ink pad, stamp your envelopes with the names of each type of seed. Once stamped, don’t touch the envelopes for at least 5 minutes, allowing the ink to fully dry.

Now, simply fill your DIY seed packets with their corresponding seeds and store them in a box in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to plant them!
