Step One: Measure The Base

Start by measuring the base to cut a 15-inch circle. Using a measuring tape, mark the centre with a pencil and draw a perfect circumference using a woodworking compass.

Place your new side table outside before your spray-paint your latest DIY masterpiece.

Make sure you wear a mask and can work in a well-ventilated area before spray-painting. Apply two coats of paint to your table (we used light pink) and let it dry for at least 35 minutes.

If you want a terrazzo-inspired look, use stone-textured spray paint and apply two more coats. Let it sit overnight for the best results.
