At this year’s International Design Show in Toronto, home interiors brand Urban Barn unveiled their new home decor collection with Canadian designer Aly Velji.
This limited-edition collection draws from global influences and traditional craftsmanship. The collection dubbed Wanderlust explores Velji’s experiences as a globetrotter and what it means to bring the beauty of other cultures into your home. Featuring pieces inspired by faraway places, Wanderlust offers 17 unique decor items with a mix of patterns and designs that are versatile enough to complement any design style.

Embrace the Unexpected
The collection features everything from rugs and pillows to urns and accent chairs. Velji describes his collaboration with Urban Barn as a “dream come true,” with the vision for the collection being approachable and thoughtful.
With over 14 years in the design industry, Aly Velji has cultivated a personalized aesthetic that speaks to him. “You can see my travels and passions expressed through this collection,” says Velji. “There’s always room to diversify your decor, and I believe this collection allows homeowners to do that seamlessly.”
