With September closing in, the first signs that summer is coming to an end are here. Despite this, things on HGTV are about to get hot. With the premiere of HGTV’s new show, Flip the Strip, the Las Vegas heat is coming. Following four members of the famous Australia’s Thunder From Down Under male revue stage show and their designer, as they bring glitz and glamour to Vegas homes. The steamy foursome of Flip the Strip will be balancing home renos by day and thrilling performances by night as they work to bring design to the desert.

When they aren’t headlining at night, they work as skilled tradesmen. Together, they combine their skills to create stunning interiors. The four live and work in Las Vegas but came from Australia as a part of Australia’s Thunder From Down Under. Wanting to put their skills to use, they teamed up with celebrated interior designer Kelly Stone. Now the stage isn’t the only place dropping jaws.

Meet the Cast of Flip the Strip
Each member of the team brings specific skills to the team that help them take on any task a renovation might need. All of them are capable in their own right, but together is when the magic happens.
Benny
Ben Cleary is the team’s skilled carpenter, handling all the custom needs of the home. With a talent for seamless and subtle touches, his features add a bespoke feel wherever he works. Aside from Australia’s Thunder From Down Under, he has a passion for riding. From horses to waves and everything in between, he’s up for the challenge. If there’s one thing Benny seems to love, it’s a good adventure.
Dan
Serving as the project manager is Dan Paterson, organizing the entirety of the job. It’s thanks to him that the team is able to excel, even with tight deadlines and evening performances. Wrangling the rest of his crew is a job easier said than done. Between draining late night performances and the boys’ busy lives, finding the time that works within their schedules may be the hardest task of all.
Liam
Liam Black is the talented painter and finisher of the team. His
steady hands are the final touches that make any space luxe. With a passion for travel and body building, he’s seen a lot of the world. It’s those experiences that he uses to discern just the right look for their eye-popping finishes. He’s a man that can express himself, no matter the medium.
Malik
Last, but certainly not least, Malik Wills-Martin handles demo as well as being a do it all. There’s no shortage of muscles on this crew, but Malik puts his to use as often as he can. Not only does he split he time between performing and renovating, but he’s also a fascial stretch therapist.
With Kelly’s interior expertise and thoughtful designs, the boys are fully equipped to create show-stopping spaces on the strip.
How Many Episodes is Flip the Strip?
Six hour-long episodes will follow the team as they infuse casino-inspired design into their flips. Grand chandeliers, opulent textured ceilings, one-of-a-kind bars, and some abstract artwork made with the help of a shirtless dancer, you won’t want to miss a second of the excitement.
