Sarah Richardson’s most dramatic bathroom transformation ever, on Real Potential, Season 1, Episode 12.
The Blue Bathroom Makeover
Sarah had the task of creating a bathroom that was big enough for a family of four, and she accomplished all that and more.
Before the Makeover
The bathroom pre-makeover was cramped and dark. It had hardly enough space for one person to use, let alone four. By taking extending the bathroom into the bedroom beside it, Sarah was able to make space for a bathroom with a shower, stand-alone bath and vanity.
Shocking Citrus
The entire bathroom was gutted. Out went the citrus tiles and the tiny bathtub.
Boring Old Bathtub
The tiny bathtub was replaced with a large, minimalist stand-alone tub.
A Cottage on the Coast
The homeowners requested a mix of white, grey and blue for a look that was crisp, with a beach vibe.
The Vanity
Sarah found a weathered oak vanity to use for the sink. With a marble top and classic fixtures, it totally fits the seaside feel.
A Sailor’s Life
Sarah took the homeowner’s love of seaside decor and translated it into a look that’s elegant.
Coastal Character
Wood paneling was added to the walls to complete the cottage look.
Exquisite Tile
An intricate blue and white design above the crisp, white subway tiles look chic and add a slight feminine touch to the shower.
Metallic Accents
Metallic matches just about anything, and brings a contemporary edge to the classic bathroom decor.
Gorgeous Tiles
Sarah replaced the awful floor with an exquisite blue and white tile.
