Disco Designs for a 70’s Den
Before:
For team Ty Pennington (Rock the Block) and Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab) their task was a first. Ty and Alison were challenged to create the first ‘Ken’s den’ in a Barbie dreamhouse, all in 70’s stylings.
After:
Partnered with superfan Holly, an interior designer whose first design client as a young girl was also Barbie, they were determined. After a pep talk from Ken himself (played by Ryan Gosling in the 2023 Barbie movie), they were motivated to make a space to wow. With bold 70’s prints, colours and even a little shag, they gave Ken his first groovy space in the Barbie Dreamhouse.

An 80’s Era Revival
Before:
Team Jon and Kristina (Farmhouse Fixer) got Barbie’s very own bedroom in 80’s fashion. It was an era of big hair and even bigger style, and they wanted that to show.
After:
With lots of pinks, some throwback wallpaper and even a vintage-designed workout area, they perfected their Barbie pad. However, what took their space over the top was their toyetic feature, a gorgeous canopy bed complete with voice assistant. Now our favorite doll has all the designs of the past and the features of the future.
