According to 65 per cent of experts, homeowners will be prioritizing the shower when they renovate their bathrooms. Not only is the shower often the main event in the bathroom, but it’s also an area that can easily develop water damage and mould, which is why it’s often the first priority on many homeowners’ remodelling lists.
Backlit Mirrors
Adding ambient mood lighting and higher functionality thanks to features like anti-fog materials and magnifiers, backlit mirrors will be a big bathroom trend for 2023, say 47 per cent of experts. Add one to your space to create a zen-like effect while optimizing function and utility.
Patterned Tiles
Thirty-six per cent of experts surveyed said that patterned and textured tiles, as well as wall coverings, will be popular for bathroom renovations this year. These accents can add pattern and texture to your space, which will help you channel your unique personality through your home’s design.

Fun and funky wallpaper are back in a big way. According to 26 per cent of experts, oversized tiles and the wallpaper will continue to be popular options for bathroom renovations this year because they can add a touch of glamour and intrigue to the room.

Finally, 24 per cent of experts say that chrome finishes on faucets and accessories will also be a major trend this year. As the default finish option, chrome is typically affordable for the faucet and showerhead, and it’s also easy to clean, which will save you time in the long run.
Ceramic Tiles
Another affordable yet chic option for bathroom renos is ceramic tile. Seventy-one per cent of experts say ceramic tiles are the best way to keep costs to a minimum when sprucing up your floors, walls and shower area.
