Jerry’s Barber Shop in Wetumpka
How many towns can boast a mayor who moonlights as a barber? (It’s a “super small town”, as Erin put it!). Jerry Willis has served the community of Wetumpka as barber and mayor for many years and loves the opportunity to connect on an individual level when he’s cutting hair.
Ben and Erin Napier really wanted to support Jerry because he’s done so much to help the city of Wetumpka and was a huge part of the city’s mission to revitalize itself.

The Old Civic Room
Next on Erin and Ben Napier’s list of Wetumpka buildings in need of revitalization was the Jeanette Barrett Civic Room. Jeanette Barrett was Wetumpka’s first female mayor from 1984 to 1988. The civic room was meant to be a place for locals to gather and host events for the special milestones in their lives.

This is Just the Beginning
Elizabeth and Shaina were overjoyed with their new home and workspace. It’s exactly what their theatre community had been missing. The two knew that with a beautiful space to work from, they’d be even more inspired to give back to the community of Wetumpka and pay forward the goodwill they’d received from Ben and Erin Napier.
A Historical Home
Chip and Stephanie own a little piece of history in Wetumpka. Their home, the old Cane House, is one of the oldest in the city; it was built in 1850. But several renovations had left it feeling a bit disjointed, and Chip and Stephanie felt burdened by the work it needed. With the help of Ben and Erin, the old Cane House finally received the work and care it needed to be saved and live on as a historical home in Wetumpka!

Stephanie’s Dream Kitchen
The reconfigured kitchen had Stephanie jumping for joy! Erin kept the space light and bright but made nods to the home’s history with a classic tile backsplash and floor to ceiling cabinets.
Meanwhile, modern additions, like a handy storage cubby beside the garage door and a spacious working island, ensured the kitchen could handle the needs of Chip and Stephanie’s young family.
