Give everyday plastic animal figurines a modern makeover with a pop of colour!
Materials:
- Plastic animal figurines
- Acrylic craft paint
- Small bowl or mason jar lid
- Paint brush
- Newspaper
Step 1: Splish Splash
Pour your paint into a small bowl or mason jar lid. Carefully place your chosen figurine, on its side, into the paint. When one side is completely coated carefully flip the figurine over to cover the other side. Stand the figurine up and use your paintbrush to cover any areas that may have been missed.
Step 2: Dry Time
Remove the figurine from the paint (I very carefully used my fingers and washed them immediately after) and place it, standing, onto newspaper or another protected surface. Allow the paint to dry.
Step 3: Play Time
What to do with these bright figurines? Make a small hole and add string to create a unique ornament or use hot glue to carefully attach them to the top jars!
