Protect your work surface by placing your cutlery onto paper or newspaper. Coat your paint brush in paint and cover three quarters of the utensil’s handle – both sides. Don’t be skimpy on the paint! You don’t want to see brush strokes.

Rest your utensils in a short glass or bowl, painted side up, and allow to dry. When it comes time to wash your cutlery do these by hand so you know the paint won’t chip.
