Materials Required:
- Coir doormat
- Painter’s tape
- White acrylic paint
- Firm paint brush
- Exacto knife and/or scoring knife
- Clear matte spray paint
Gingerbread House Doormat Instructions:
Step One: Cover the entire doormat in painter’s tape.
Step Two: Draw a stencil of a gingerbread house onto the painter’s tape.
Step Three: Use a scoring knife (or exacto knife) to cut through the painter’s tape, creating the stencil.

Step Four: With a firm paint brush, dab white paint inside the stencil lines.
Step Five: Pull away the tape to reveal the gingerbread house! Add on any smaller designs at this point.

Step Six: Flip the doormat over, and use an exacto knife to cut through the mat to create the shape of the house.
Step Seven: Spray it with a clear matte spray paint to seal it.
