Materials Required:

  • 6 bunches of fresh herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary, bay leaves, sage, basil)
  • Baker’s twine
  • Gold hoop or wood embroidery hoop
  • Mini clips
  • Scissors
  • Large wood beads
  • Hook

Step One: Let’s Work on the Base

If you’re using an embroidery hoop, remove the outer hoop and use the inner one as the base of your hanging herb rack.

Step Two: Measure the Length

Next, decide how far you would like to hang your herb rack from the ceiling and cut three pieces of twine to that exact length.

Step Four: Finish Up the Rack Base 

Finish the base by taking one end of a piece of twine and tying it to the hoop. Space the remaining two pieces of twine at equal distance around the hoop and add two clips in-between each cord to balance everything.

Step Five: Knot the Top and Decorate
