Double Kitchen Islands
When Miami natives Shaly and Leonel realized it was time to make their Vegas living situation a little more permanent, they called on the Property Brothers for help. One thing the couple made clear is that they wanted colour and personality. Enter this newly redesigned kitchen, featuring plenty of dark cabinetry for dramatic pops of colour and storage, not to mention dual sister islands. One of the islands is functional with a dishwasher and sink, while the other features seating on both sides so that this family can gather round like they would at a traditional table.
Open Concept
In addition to the island seating, the brothers gave the couple this sleek-yet-large dining table with a light-wood finish that complements the open-concept shelving in the kitchen. Add in the wicker-backed chairs with dark trim and comfy cushions, and this is a warm and welcoming look. The space is delineated thanks to the area rug and modern chandelier, it easily seats eight, and it’s the perfect setup for hosting a dinner party or merely enjoying your morning coffee.
Plenty of Kitchen Storage
Let’s take a final look at this masterpiece of a kitchen. It features plenty of space and clean sight lines all the way through to the back of the house. A large basin sink in the functional island offers an extra touch of design, while the cabinets below and off to the side provide ample storage. Pops of gold in the pendant lighting and hardware add instant elegance and tie everything together, making this a modern and cozy design full of personality.
Eclectic Style
This kitchen caught us a little off guard! It’s full of colour and a masterful collection of eclectic finishes. Homeowners Ren and Scott had finally found a house with oodles of soutwestern heritage charm close to the city but it needed a lot of updates. Jonathan and Drew completely reworked the kitchen that suited the owners eclectic, farmhouse style.
3-forever-home-103-blue-kitchen
This kitchen helped set the tone for the rest of the home with its on-trend navy blue cabinets, a vintage-inspired geometric blue and grey tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, white quartz island, terra cotta tile floors and exposed beams on the ceiling. Overhead are blown-glass pendant lights.
Cool Mint Kitchen
The brothers are cooking up more colour in the kitchen in this Property Brothers: Forever Home transformation where Jonathan and Drew turned a newlywed couple’s ho-hum bungalow into a colourful, contemporary space. After years of daydreaming about a modern, functioning kitchen, Nora and Diego get just that — and then some — in this spectacular redesign. The mint-ice-cream green colour of the kitchen cabinets and build-in mini bar moves away from traditional (and safe) white but, thanks to the smaller space and choice of natural wood furnishings, it fits the modern mood of the home perfectly.
Island in the Green
The kitchen island and four wood bar stools provide extra seating for guests when entertaining, as well as a casual spot for the whole family to eat breakfast or share family recipes. The two round pendants above the island define the space and the perfect finishing touch to this Forever Home renovation.
Hues of Blue
When Binh and Ramon first bought their home it was with every intention of fixing it up to be their forever home but three kids and a lot of side projects later, they weren’t much further along. So, they called up the Drew and Jonathan who, who transported their 1950s home into modern times. Among the changes was this new Property Brothers: Forever Home kitchen. The brothers used clean lines, a pretty blue island, and hints of mid-century appeal through finishes like the range hood and the island chairs to bring the kitchen into this decade. Meanwhile, large new windows allow lots of light to come through, and there is still lots of storage thanks to the cabinetry below.
Clean Lines
The kitchen features an elongated space for the counter and cupboards along one wall while adding in an entire second wall of cabinetry along the back for added storage. The clean lines are further enhanced by the lack of hardware on the modern facings, which can eventually be switched up if and when Ramon and Binh feel like a new look. Add in those sleek new countertops and a hanging bar light above the island, and this kitchen is a bright and functional space that gives the family plenty of room.
A Flair for Kitchens
The pretty marble finish on the countertop gives this space an instant sense of flair. Add in some pendant lights and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and this is a modern, bright space that’s definitely on trend.
