Step One: Make the Base
If you have a wooden wreath, spray paint it black and fray the edges a bit for a distressed look. Add some black glitter for a little sparkle. For a wire wreath, paint it black and attach layers of dark or painted twigs and branches once dry with floral wire.

Step Two: Fluff up the Wreath
Weave in a black feather boa and faux florals to create a full wreath with an interesting texture. Don’t worry about making it perfect: play with different patterns, tones and symmetry for visual interest.
Step Three: Secure the Loose Ends
Snip away long stems and tie any loose bits securely to the wreath with floral wire or floral tape.
Step Four: Add a Halloween Ornament
Give your wreath a flourishing finishing by affixing a Halloween ornament of your choice – a black crow, wide-eyed bat or skeleton head – using a hot glue gun. Tip: position your ornament a bit off center for a more professional or realistic look.
Step Five: Hang Your Halloween Wreath
Hang your wreath on the inside or outside of your door or on an interior window or wall. We think it would look great above a bar cart too!
