Shortly before his 1980 assassination, John Lennon and wife Yoko Ono plunked down a paltry $725,000 for a beachfront mansion in Florida’s Palm Beach. Sold by Yoko in 1986 for $3.15 million, it has changed hands a few times. The home is now being listed once again, for a whopping $47.5 million – or 65 times what the rock icon paid for it 40 years ago.

Sold After Renovation
