Mandy is a highly successful self made entrepreneur, sought-after public speaker, author and Blue Collar CEO™, standing at the forefront of some of the trade industry’s biggest trends - but you can call her “Bear”. This fun-loving, nickname-enthusiast proudly hails from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and she is the host and lead contractor of HGTV Canada’s Trading Up with Mandy Rennehan. Her entrepreneurial spirit began at the age of 10 when she foraged for bait to sell to local fishermen to help support her family. Today, armed with a tool belt filled with good humour, hard work and a passion for the trades she helms Freshco, a boutique North American facilities firm providing services for major clients like Gap, Apple, Lululemon and many more fortune 500 clients. Her commitment to mentoring and attracting new tradespeople in all areas of the building community is unwavering. She knows first-hand what feeling empowered and respected in the trades can accomplish and Mandy strives every day to be the industry role model she never had.
