Mike Holmes Reveals His Favourite Moments With His Kids

I can’t believe I’m celebrating 15 years on television! I never dreamed this journey would last so long. But the best part is that I’ve been able to share it with my family. I’m so thrilled that my kids, Mike Jr. and Sherry, share the same passion and dedication to construction and the skilled trades that I do. I couldn’t be prouder. Here’s a little snapshot of my journey with my kids.

We Love Our ATV’s

My kids and I love the outdoors and ATVing is such a great way to have fun! This is Sherry and I at one of our ATV fundraisers several years ago, which benefitted The Holmes Foundation. It was a great day where my team, partners and trades people got together for a day of fun, for a good cause. We need to do this again soon.

Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire

This was taken on my series Holmes Makes it Right. Sherry and I spent a day at FESTI, the Fire and Emergency Service Training Institute. We got to see and participate in a day of firefighting training. There really was smoke and a fire and I actually went into a burning building. And, I even got to drive the truck that is used in airport emergency landings! It was a great day. I have so much respect for all the men and women who work every day to help keep us safe. As you can see, Sherry and I aren’t enjoying ourselves at all!
