Traveling is always a joy. It exposes you to different cultures, climates, people, and most importantly designs. Immersing oneself in the different design styles from around the world is a wonderful privilege. For Denise, a seasoned traveler, the problem with all this exposure to beautiful places only made her more conscious of her own home’s shortcomings. She wanted her own beautiful home with a maximalist flair to reflect her true taste and travels. That’s where Nicole Babb and Caffery Vanhorne of Styled stepped in. Together, they turned Denise’s home into a designer destination.

Not On the Map
Denise had traveled the world and experienced so much, but you would have never known it from her home. All her stunning keepsakes and souvenirs felt out of place against such a backdrop. Nicole and Caffery wanted to give her a space she was just as excited to return to as all the places she visited. So, the Styled team got to work, taking the space from drab to designer.
Staycation Worthy
When designing a space for Denise, the team was challenged with creating a space that felt comfortable and cohesive, all the while incorporating the various textures and palettes that she had accumulated from her globetrotting adventures. The solution: Textures. By adding intriguing and eye-catching textures throughout, it served as a way of blending in the various important pieces. Now, the end of a vacation isn’t so bad when you’re returning to a home like this.
