Some things just can’t be replaced. Often, those things that money can’t buy are the most valuable things we have. For Sarah, Mark, and their daughter Etta, one of those things was their home. Having been the place of so many memories and so much character, it felt like another member of the family. From Cramped and Cluttered
Open concept is a relatively new, well, concept. A hundred years ago houses mainly focused on creating individual spaces for each purpose. This means that overtime the spaces can clutter and leave the house feeling disconnected. For Sarah and Mark, life and necessities had filled up their kitchen to the point of claustrophobia. It was time to start from scratch so they could have a floor plan that worked for their modern family.

The space needed to not only be modernized to suit the family, but to do so for decades to come. It was an older and elegant home, so they wanted designs that would compliment that. Nicole and Caffery made sure to incorporate designs that would stand the test of time and age gracefully. Together, the team incorporated elegant and functional designs that should suit this timeless century-home for another hundred years.
