Garden Rooms
Due to expanding work-from-home policies and advanced technology, people are spending more time at home during the weekdays than ever before. Pinterest has seen a spike of 104 per cent in searches for personalized secret gardens and plant-filled decor ideas heading into 2020.

Japanese Soaking Tubs
Similar to the traditional soaking tubs you’ve seen rise in popularity over the years, the Japanese variety tends to be smaller, deeper and more circular or oval in shape. Most also come with a bench seat, which is perfect for gazing out the window while you relax.
Indian Living Rooms
This one is a doozy: Pinterest has recorded a massive increase in searches for Indian living room designs – 2,080 per cent to be exact! Liven up your living quarters with shiny brass, low-to-the-ground couches, unique seating arrangements, bright colours and over-sized sculptures in the coming months.
Spanish-Style Bathrooms
Searches for Spanish-inspired bathrooms are heating up on Pinterest (up by 309 per cent and counting), so be prepared to see more distinct archways, decorative floor tiles, sun-washed tones (think: bright whites or yellows) and spa-like showers – like in this stunner from actor Leonardo DiCaprio’s three-storey Spanish-style hacienda in Los Angeles.
