Renovation Resort Team: Rotem and Troy

This Toronto-based husband and wife designer-builder duo have been creating magic together since the moment they met. Both children of immigrant families, they learned the value of tenacity and determination at young ages but they’re also a ton of fun! Rotem emigrated from Israel at the age of 12. She grew up on the jobsite learning from her father, a professional contractor, who inspired her love of building and design. A mother of two girls, Rotem wants to instill in her daughters the belief that they can “do anything”! Born to a Chinese-Trinidadian father and Danish mother, Troy caught the entrepreneurial bug at a young age. After owning various businesses, including a double decker sightseeing bus, he found his passion for renovating and carpentry under the supportive guidance of his father-in-law and wife and opened a contracting company with Rotem.
