The Big Day!
Sarah revisited her magical nuptials in a previous HGTV Canada article: “It was a warm September day back in 2004. We had put together the whole wedding in a short three months…” While that might seem like a complete whirlwind for the organized duo, the silver lining was that the short time-span saved them from overthinking their plans.

Intimate and Magical
The wedding turned out to be smashing success. The outdoor ceremony featured an intimate guest list of only 89 close friends and family – and the weather cooperated! “It was the ideal amount [of people] as it still felt very intimate and personal,” Sarah says.
Working Together
The dynamic reno team of Bryan and Sarah first appeared on-screen together during House of Bryan in January 2010. Since then, it’s been TV magic. The couple went on to star in more seasons of House Of Bryan and other shows including, Bryan Inc., Home To Win and of course, the HGTV Canada hit show, Island of Bryan.
Big Announcements
When you work together on home reno shows some of your most personal (and romantic!) moments are captured on TV, including Sarah’s announcement that she was pregnant with Jojo during the filming of House of Bryan. The first thing out of Bryan’s mouth after hearing the news? “We need a bigger house.” You can check the episode here.
Early Childhood!
Jojo’s birth was the fourth, and final, for the family. The kids – who are also known at the B-Team – include son Quintyn (born 2003), daughter Charlotte (born 2007), son Lincoln (born November 2010) and, last but not least, Josephine (Jojo) in 2012.

First Solo Vacation
While the Baeumler family is tight-knit, Sarah and Bryan are still able to carve out some time just for themselves. “The first time that Sarah and I got together without the kids to a bona fide resort was to the British Virgin Islands,” Bryan told HGTV Canada. “[It was] a place called Surfsong. We were terrified that we were just going to lounge around and do nothing for a few days [but] then quickly realized that was exactly what we needed to do before we got into diving and exploring. ”
Island of Bryan Begins!
In June 2018, the Baeumlers began filming Island of Bryan. After visiting the Bahamian island of South Andros, the couple fell in love with the location and purchased a rundown resort with plans to transform it into a boutique resort after a little renovation TLC. Who knew the challenges and successes that lay before them as they moved down from Canada to the Caribbean island.
Play Together!
One of the greatest advantages of moving down to the Bahamas was the ocean. The Baeumlers play in and around the ocean whenever the get the chance. In addition to scuba diving, the family spends hours playing in the ocean and motoring around on their boat. And, Sarah and Bryan are still able to steal some time for the occasional date day.
Next Chapter?
With the Caerula Mar Club hotel now almost completely finished and accepting guests, what is next for this couple? If the past is any indication, there will be plenty of excitement, drama and laughter. Stay tuned for more updates on this incredible couple.
