Where Were the Previous Seasons of The White Lotus Filmed?
For two iterations now, Four Seasons has been the backdrop for the Emmy-Award winning series The White Lotus — are we even surprised? Four Seasons’ lineup of luxurious hotels span across the globe with each location showcasing a unique design, complementary to the local culture. The ongoing theme for the series has been coastal and tropical, which continues into season three.
In season one, the show featured the stunning Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, in Maui, Hawaii. At the time of filming, COVID-19 was ever present, making it challenging to have multiple filming locations. This set provided the perfect balance between material wealth and the calming energy of nature.
In the second season, Director Mike White turned to Sicily for the next stop. Filming at San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel, in Taormina, Sicily — the ideal setting for an Italian getaway by the Ionian Sea. This stunning hotel has seen a multitude of the rich and famous prance through its doors since 1896.

Where Will The White Lotus Season 3 be Filmed?
The question on everyone’s lips: Where is The White Lotus season three being filmed? After much careful consideration, the show has decided to take residency at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, Thailand. Set along a bountiful tropical hillside overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, it is said this hotel reflects the true spirit of Thailand’s island life.
The hotel itself is based on traditional Southern Thai architecture, boasting a total of 71 rooms, 60 pool villas and 11 private residences.
