Dubbed by its realtor as the “best value in the most secure building in New York”, this condo is touting the presence of Secret Service agents as a selling point to prospective buyers. The 1-bed, 1.5-bath is listed at $2.1 million and is located on the swanky 5th avenue strip in the Big Apple. By Brent Furdyk
Security Prevails
It’s a 1,052-square-foot condo in a building which has become a fortress, fitted with security and all the pomp and circumstance that come with serving as the residence of a president. Since Melania and her 10-year-old son said they wouldn’t be following president-elect Donald Trump to the new Washington address, security has been beefed up considerably within the Manhattan tower.
Manhattan View
A Renter’s Pleasure
Right now the Secret Service is looking to rent a floor in the tower – maybe the landlord will give them a break on the price. Maybe they’ll also get to monitor the goings on in a wide open space like this, boasting majestically high ceilings, white walls and swanky black marble floors.
On the Market
You would think that all that dramatically increased security would be a selling point for buyers, but that may not be the case. Politico reports that brokers are ‘desperate’ to sell and are trying to find a new way to spin their pitch.
Kitchen Coolness
The 263 condominiums in Trump Tower are all privately owned. This galley-style kitchen features lots of white, plenty of cabinetry and dark floors and counters and other amenities.
Big for the Big Apple
This spacious walk-in closet is a room within a room, with plenty of space for a president-elect to hang all those red power ties and dark suits.
Bedroom Views
It’s a big bedroom with a spectacular view. White and grey fixtures and flooring create a sense of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of Midtown.
Manhattan Skyline
The average condo price is $4 million and rentals go for $11K per month. It makes sense when you see this wide open space giving you a view of New York. Floor to ceiling mirrors on one wall, a built in bar shelf and more views of one of the world’s most famous landscape should ensure this place doesn’t stay on the market for long.
A 5th Avenue Address
Regardless of your opinion of the president-elect, Trump Tower’s 5th Avenue address is one of the most desirable locations in the city, walking distance from Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall and other top Midtown Manhattan destinations.
Grand Entrance
The entrance to the condo’s floor, with the hallway area as Trump-tastic as you’d expect. And what’s with that mirror? Shouldn’t that ornate gold frame be holding a portrait of The Donald?
