Designer Sarah Richardson has fronted many big projects, but the one she undertakes in this series is her most ambitious yet. Together with husband Alex and their two young daughters, Sarah builds an off-the-grid family dream home in Creemore, Ont. She juggles being a mother, a business owner, and now, the unique challenge of sharing the role of general contractor with Alex on the yearlong project.
